Brother Douglas

Abbey Dubbel

Aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, banana, and orchard fruits. Beer starts sweet on the palate with the depth of Belgian and English caramel malts bringing flavours of rustic toasted bread, and toffee sauce before giving way to a light bitterness, and spicy notes from the Saaz hops and Belgian yeast.

The beer finishes dry, giving it a quaffable character despite it’s 6.5%ABV strength.
Rich reddish brown in colour, with a tan head. Simple and complex in the traditional style of a Belgian Dubbel.
